The SCEJ Asia Research Award

This award shall be granted to outstanding individuals under the age of 45 at the time of selection, who contribute to research and technological development of chemical engineering that have resulted in significant improvements within Asia outside Japan. The SCEJ Awards Committee encourages all members and Asian Chemical Engineering Institutes to nominate deserving colleagues for the Award.

Nomination process

1.    The nominator for the award must submit a completed nomination form to The SCEJ Awards Committee by registered mail or electronic mail by June 30, 2011. Nominees are not required to be members of SCEJ.

2.    The nominee must submit the following documents to The SCEJ Awards Committee by registered mail or electronic mail by June 30, 2011.

             a. The nominee’s current curriculum vitae.

b. The nominee’s five most significant articles including scientific paper or patent application.

Selection schedule and Award lecture

1.    The SCEJ Awards Committee will decide the award winner(s) after the rigid examination in October 2011.

2.    Nominators and nominees will be notified the results of the selection by no later than November 30, 2011.

3.    SCEJ has the honor to invite the award winners to give the Award Lecture at SCEJ 75th Anniversary International Symposium held at Tokyo, Japan in March 15, 2012.
