- Perform necessary SAP transaction connected with function (transport – warehouses and terminal procurement) - Identify, implement and steward cost reduction programs. - Confer, liaise and interact with other department to identify and evaluate support needed from distribution in order to improve business performance. - Confer, liaise and interact with Supply Chain management on activities of the department - Manage regulatory requirements of shipping / receiving dangerous goods. - Supply the development of agreements for the high volumed raw materials which include price and quantity. - Overlooking inventory, checking raw materials & packaging levels. - Overseeing these levels are maintained or maintaining them myself by placing orders for the raw materials required. - Part of a production planning team, scheduling a weekly production plan. - Support production by order of raw material & packaging requirements versus availability. - Bachelor Degree or above. - Familiar with logistics and production planning concepts (e.g., just-in-time, materials requirement planning) - Broad range of computer skills—database, spreadsheet, statistics applications, and logistics software packages; understand contracts and tariffs; self-directed; ability to communicate findings, make recommendations, and facilitate change; comfortable working with individuals at all organizational levels; project management skills. - Sound English skills (spoken & written) - Total Work experience 7 to 10years; - Proven competence in area to be supervised with 3 to 5years of Logistics working experience and Warehouse, Purchase experience would be a plus - Supervisory position with 3 to 5years. - Self-motivated, can work independently under pressure and challenge; - Strong willingness to learn. Proved fast leaner, and be reliable. - Ability to take initiative, to be assertive, to lead by example and to build relationships. \ - Strategic thinking capabilities. Forward planner.
