[Responsibilities]
This assignment is based near Seoul, South Korea. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the capability of the fiber spining process, working with the Product Development teams to commercialize new products, and acting as a liaison with the contract R&D partners.

- Develop an solid scientific understanding of the fiber spining process, with a focus on the process / product property relationships
- Work with the Product Development Teams to rapidly prototype customer samples
- Work with our Research Partners to broaden the fiber spining process capability, based on the market needs
- Support the commercialization of products by developing the appropriate product by process correlations

[Qualifications]
- Advanced degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques (DOE, SPC, etc)
- Successful track record of process development, preferably in the nonwovens area or involve polymer / solvent systems (e.g. implemented product by process methodology, etc)
- Results-oriented, team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong scientific approach to solve problems; makes data based decision
- Ability to guide programs through influence management; solid diplomatic skills
